New Upcoming Course 2017

Salaamun alaykum,

Alhamdulillah, by the grace of the Almighty, the Risalat International Institute will be holding two courses in English in 2017.

Please apply as soon as possible and before January 26th, 2017.

Imamat & Wilayat: This course is based on the Introduction to Shia Islam; one of the Risalat International Institute’s publication.

  • Session dates: Thursdays 8:30 am – 10:00 am (from February 2nd to April 27th)
  • Venue: Risalat International Institute (Address: No. 41, Alley No. 8, Shahid Attaran Street, Qum)
  • Instructor: Hujjat al-Islam Hasan Doagoo

He obtained his bachelor in ‘Islamic Philosophy’ from Imam Khomeini’s Educational and Research Institute and master’s degree in ‘Islamic Studies’ from the Hawzah of Qum, and has taught this subject in several educational institutes worldwide.

Note: This course will cover:

  • Arguments from Quran for Imamate in general
  • Rational arguments on Imamate after Prophet Muhammad (s)
  • Arguments from Hadith (from Shi’a & Sunni reliable resources)
  • The twelfth caliph is Al-Mahdi, the Messiah; who is he? And what are the aspects of his government?
  • Arguments from reason and from Quran and Sunna on Wilayat Al-Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurist)

Practical Fiqh: This course will concentrate on Women’s Practical Fiqh according to the latest fatwas of Ayatullah Khamenei and Ayatollah Sistani.

  • Session dates: Thursdays from 10:30 am-12 pm (from February 2nd to April 27th)
  • Venue: Risalat International Institute (Address: No. 41, Alley No. 8, Shahid Attaran Street, Qum)
  • Instructor: Sr. Zahra Farzanegan

She obtained a master’s degree of ‘Shia Studies’, and has been studying Fiqh at the Jami’a al-Zahra (sa). She taught this subject for various groups inside and outside of Jami’a al-Zahra (sa).

 

  • Deposit (refunded on attendance):
    • 25,000 tomans for each course. (Note: Upon attending all classes and on completion of the course, this deposit will be returned. 3,000 tomans will be deducted for each absence, with an allowance of up to one absence.)
    • Deposits can be paid at the Risalat International Institute on Sunday, January 29th and Monday, January 30th between 9 am and 1 pm.

Registration Deadline: January 26th, 2017.

NOTE:

  • Registration requires commitment. You will be notified if your application has been accepted by January 26th, but your registration will not be confirmed until deposit has been received. If you are unable to give a deposit, please let us know.
  • These courses are only for sisters.
  • A certificate of attendance would be submitted to those who will:
  1. Not miss the class more than 2 sessions
  2. Pass the exam successfully
